Edgar Endress is a Chilean artist who works within the limits of social-practice and sculpture, interactive media, collaboration and public engagement. Most of Endress' work involves working with communities with an emphasis on popular culture. His works of video art and documentaries reveal a very personal style of camera and editing, with a constant interest in the relationship between the natural landscape and the built one, as well as in the human presence and the personal stories that are held in these spaces. He is also the founder of the Floating Collective Laboratory, a mobile museum that aims to bring art closer to the daily life of the public and stimulate participation in contemporary and social art. He also directs an experimental laboratory of arts and technologies at George Mason University.

Edgar Endress es un artista Chileno que trabaja en los límites de la escultura social / práctica, medios interactivos, la colaboración y la ejecución pública. La mayor parte del trabajo de Endress involucra un trabajo con comunidades con un énfasis en la cultura popular. Sus trabajos de videoarte y documentales revelan un estilo muy personal de cámara y edición, con un interés constante en la relación entre el paisaje natural y el construido, así como en la presencia humana y las historias personales que se ceran en estos espacios. Es también el fundador del Laboratorio Colectivo Flotante, un museo móvil que tiene el objetivo de acercar el arte a la vida cotidiana del público y estimular la participación en torno al arte contemporáneo y lo social. Ademas dirige un laboratorio experimental de artes y tecnologías en la Universidad de George Mason.
